Southern Home Inspection Services was established in 1986 as a privately owned company proudly serving the “Lake Region” which encompasses: Brooker, Grandin, Hampton, Hawthorne, Keystone Heights, Lake Butler, Lawtey, Melrose, Raiford, Starke, and Waldo in North Central Florida.

Vern W. Wickline Jr. is the owner and inspector for this company. Years of hard work with a diverse educational background of Civil Engineering and Building Construction Management degrees coupled with over 20-years of construction experience with the U.S. Air Force, have enable me to progress extensively into the Building Inspection Industry.

Essentially, it’s very important for a qualified Home Inspector to keep abreast of the latest technology and innovations of the Home/Building Inspection Industry. The following are professional affiliations that I participate and hold memberships in:
